Abigail and Eric met on November 5, 2021 at a Coldstone Creamery on their first date after meeting on a dating app. They sat there and talked long after their ice cream was eaten. They stayed so long that they got kicked out because the place was closing. However, neither one was ready for the night to end so they walked around the town talking about their dreams of camping and traveling the world. The date went so well they scheduled another one for the next week.
Successive dates went equally as well, if not better. Some highlights during the first month were Eric showing Abigail his self driving car, a spontaneous trip to Insomnia Cookies, and cooking together for the first time making shrimp and gnocchi. On December 13, 2021, Eric asked Abigail if she would be his girlfriend. After a brief hesitation, she said "Sure."

By January 2023, they had both decided they had enough of dating. Eric wasted no time and took Abigail ring shopping the next weekend.
On February 4, 2023, Eric took Abigail out on a walk to the middle of frozen Lake Bde Maka Ska and proposed. She said "YES!" right away!!
Through our year of dating, we have both learned so much about each other while also learning more about God and His grace as well. We excited to see where God will lead us in marriage!
